The project presented by the CONMAR company has as a precedent the obtaining of a concession for the provision of the related service of wave generation and renewable energy supply in the Lázaro Cárdenas port area in the State of Michoacán (Administración Portuaria Integral de Lázaro Cárdenas ( APILAC). For this, the company signed in 2017 the concession contract of almost 7 kilometers of seafront to install the equipment and in the following year the site was delivered, so the company should focus on the design, construction and commissioning of the marine technology, for which it requires developing a prototype to be able to generate electrical energy based on a technology by hydrostatic means, in order to later reach the first stage with a capacity of 20 MW, the second for 40 MW; and, the third, for 40 Mw. additional.
1.- It is a clean energy: The use of wave energy does not imply emissions of the harmful polluting effects of fossil fuels, which ensures that the effect on the flora and fauna of the marine environment is non-existent.
2.- It is renewable: As this energy source originates from the sun's heat, it becomes inexhaustible and also provides much more concentrated energy than that of the wind or the sun. Likewise, it allows the use of electrical energy in difficult access points such as boats or platforms.
3.- It has enormous energy potential: The amount of energy contained in waves is enormous. For every meter of wave height, it is estimated that between 20 and 40 kW can be obtained. However, due to the type of technology that the company has developed, the catchment capacity is much higher due to the use of air pressure storage tanks for its operation.
4.- Safe source: Virtually every day there are waves and they are rarely interrupted. This makes waves a fairly reliable source of energy production, unlike solar or wind energy which is highly dependent on the weather. However, by generating energy through air, and configuring a pressurized air battery system, it becomes the first renewable technology in the world, which is 100% constant, that generates power and uninterruptible.
The electrical power generation equipment takes advantage of the upward and / or downward movement exerted by the waves of bodies of water on buoys, the pressure that the buoys exert when descending and ascending on pistons fixed by one of their ends on the buoy, and on the other to the support element of the buoy that is connected to the leveling system, anchored to the bottom of the waterbed. The fixing of the pistons to the buoy and to the guide tube allows that when the piston rises and falls, pressurized air is generated, directing it towards accumulators and / or compressors and the hydrostatic system of the power generation equipment, converting the force generated by the Ascent and descent of the buoys, in pressurized air, which, by means of hoses, valves, accumulators, compressors, actuators and connections, is injected into receivers in the form of buoys, buckets, inflatable or floating, submerged in water that they rise to expel the injected air, moving a chain to which they are anchored; When they expel the air, they fill with water to submerge and make a continuous cycle that by means of a pulley and a system of bands drives the electricity generator.
RECIPROCATING LINEAR ACTUATOR
Marersa, has a Pending Patent that contemplates the best technology in the world for the use of mechanical systems, without the use of oils that may eventually cause ecological damage, and also require final disposal, which contains within its elements an RLA, a patented system by UMBRA Cuccineti, the most important company in values and manufacturer of high technology aeronautical parts. In a strategic alliance, these generators will be placed in addition to the wave hydrostatic equipment in Lázaro Cárdenas, to optimize the use of the platforms to be built and generate more energy.
Marersa, has another Pending Patent that contemplates the generation of energy by means of hydraulic pressure, in conjunction with piezoelectric systems to generate energy by means of the waves of the sea. There are similar systems in Israel, England, Holland and Brazil, among others, in the part of the operation through hydraulic systems. This Patent was developed 8 years ago, in 2010, and was the recipient of a contract with a Mexican Government entity. (This pending Patent was valued by an independent valuator of intangibles with worlwide pressence in more than US$250,000,000.00 (Two hundred and fifty million US dollars) actual rate of 1 Dollar equals 20 Mexican pesos.
